WESLEY CHURCH SUNDAY SCHOOL.

Tho anniversary services in connection with Wesley Sunday school wore celebrated by a p.oireo in tho church hall last evening. Tho toa and good thinga wore provided in groat abundance by tho members of tho congregation, and woro prosided ovor by tho teachers of tho Sunday school. There was a largo attendance at the tea, and the after mooting, which was held in tho church, was oven moro largely attondod. Tho Ilov. Mi* Foster offered prayor, and Mr John Oliver prosided. After the singing of " Hosannah" by tho choir, trained by tho Rev. Mr Marten, and accompanied by Miss Wanabrough, tho annual report of tho school was read by Mr White, Tho report stated that although thoro was an increaso on tho roll of tho Sunday school the avorago attondanco had boon somewhat interfered with owing to tho prevailing epidomic. Tho report also placed on record tho loss of Mr Malcolm 8011, who had loft fcho district It paid high tribute to tho able superintendence of Mr 8011, who had actod thus for many years. A vory olevor recitation was givon' by Master Frank Joll ; and Mies Oollio's sacred solo was a moab enjoyable item, Tho Roy. Mr 1 j Todd dolivorod a short address, in which ho congratulated tho Wosley Church on the progress of their Sunday school, and complimented tho children on tho sweetness of their singing. Mr Todd gave a practical address on H.0.M.1C, urging them to the practice of honeety, obedieno6, and 1 tho'- 'udobtion of methbd and I eaniostnoss, Mr Todds address was ro» pleto with pleasing and instructive anecI dotes. Misses Florrio Foster, .Nollio Huron, and Master James Olde, and Miss Manloy gave recitations, and the children sang '• Travelling Home." Misaes Alice an'l Ellen Thomson contributed a nicely aung duet, "Pray Without Ceasing."
