An interim dividend paid in April laifc ab tho rate of JO por cent per annnm absorbed &3231 8s ; ainking fund, Auckland leasehold, L75 ; written off offico furnitarc, L 387 lin ; written off for depreciation on sundry securities, L 120 0; and L 20,000 has boon added to tho genoral re^orro fund. Out of tho balance of L 11.086 83 tho directors recommend tho payment of a dividend foi tho second half-year «t tho rato of 10 por cent per annum, which will abuorb 1d 847, and lo^ye JJQ239 to bo carried forward.
