AUCKLAND. June 16.
Th« ease against Keri K-tihau's followers for the Opuitia disturbance was adjourned till Monday after the defence was partly heard, the Ngatipa tribe ais ranging to get the native title to the Opuatia block defiued, and give Keri Kaihau power of attorney to act for them in settling by legal process the disputes in connection with the block, and to obtain land transfor titles free of restrictions so ai to lease to Europeans. A meeting of ladiea has been hold to establish a female branch of tho Ancient Order of Foresters. Thirty joined. The branch will open immediately.
