Next tho art exhibits come under notice, although on fhsfc entering tho largo school, room whero they aro displaced, the pictures and drawings would bo tho hist thing to catch tho visitor's eye, and lie would naturally concludo that a number of drawing-rooms had been temporarily denuded to grace tho exhibition. A donkey in sepia is one of Miss liew.it'h bo.st, anil her flower studies aro worthy ot notice. Miba Maxwell has fiower-T from nature, and two cnyon btudies wero well done. All tho crayons are deserving of mention, i.nd Miss Wall, J. Pagan, Cleland, J. llood, Golding, and Hamilton display bomo excellent work of thi^j kind. 'J'he.so young ladies also exhibit some cipible studies in ilowero, and in ligute n oik Miss II inning and Miss H million excel. Miss Uauning has "Mater Dolorobi" and "Mr Ohdhtono' 1 in oils, and Miss Hamilton's '• Hi. Magdalen " as a crayon study. This last mentioned is vi ry elective.
