Not many months biuco wowoio horrified by the nn i ttcuhus of the death of the South Australian Minister of Lands, caused by the bursting of a railway lamp, the burning oil from which ignited his clothing. A later victim is Lord Komilly, who lost his life at tho Egcitdn (lardcns lire. Tho London Times, in reporting tho matter, says: "Lord Rotnilly accidentally upset tho lamj), and was rendered iuscnsiblo by tho f uincs of tho burning oil." Tho Daily News, on tho other hand, simply points to tho accident as illustrating " the daugcr of using pcti oleum lamps." Tho danger, of course, cannot be entirely eradicated, hut it can bu minimised by usiug Luxono, tho " st\fo light . ' Common low test kcroßene gives no sccuiity. Usa Luxenc, which is freer from smoke and smell, gives a softer, purer light, and bums less quickly.
