Saturday Afternoon. The stagnant state of the market lepoi ted la&t week lias been broken by a number of transactions, and the tone of the inaiket is tinner. This is due to the impioved state of the values for wheat at tfome which have advanced to the figmes previously quoted. Stocks in town are not large, but the demand is only local, and growers have still the bulk of their crops on hand. With the advance in the price of flour to L12, bran and pollard have increased in value, and are quoted at L3 os and LS 10s l j^peotively.
