TO TUB KDITOTU Sik, -By tho report whioh appeared in your issue on tho abovo subject, I see that tho farmers, after all my explanations on the Union, of which I am secrotury, still persist in discussing my Union's log of pricoH ; and what takes me m»ro by surprise they (tho farmors) waited until I lofb tho mooting boforo adopting that course Sir, you would think that after I explained to the meeting that the existing log of prices had been withdrawn, that tho farmers asnombled would not havo wasted their valuable time discussing myths. However, for tho 30th time X must inform tho farmora that our log has been withdrawn for tho purpose of giving the farmers an opportunity of drawing up a log of pricos with us. On that occasion my union will have its representatives present to soo that farmers of Mahono will not draw their pen across any rule thoy think proper. Tho intention of my oxocutivo is to deal with all parties concerned, and not in tho absence of the farming community draw up rules to suit one side only.
