At a mooting of the Hospital Board, Miss Steelo. of Auckluid, vr.ie appointed matron. The Board decided to postpone the consideration of taking steps to bring the Contagious Diseases Act into operation. The Belfast freezing works difficulty ib settled. C.iptain Munroe, of the barque Kato Tathiun, which arrived from .Mauritius to-day, reports that during the p.-v^sago tlio cook, a German named Goddard Klvors, comnuttod suicide by hanging hitnsoll to a beam in the galley on May 29th.
