BOWLING TOURNAMENT. (BY TELEGRAPH.) Dunedin, January 29.

The bowling tournament was continued and concluded to-day. The weather was again magnificent A dust storm came on about 4.30, and the wind blew cold after that, but it did not interfere with the play. The bowlers cannot complain of the weather, all through it being quite in contrast to the previous week. Singlehanded tournament, fifth ties— White (19) beat Fraser (12), Scoular (23) beat M. Sinclair (15), Sneddon (25) beat Twia* (12), Hunter received a bye from Struthers. Sixth ties— White (27) beat Scoullar (15), Sneddon (20) beat Hunter (11). Final— G. S. White, Milton (21) beat Sneddon, Dunediu (13). White, who was the winner of the same event two years ago, takes the first prize of a tea and coffee service, presented by the Union Brewery ; Sneddon taking second prize, a pair of gold mounted bowls, valued at L 5 ss. Scoullar (Wellington) and Huater (Danedin) played off for third and fourth places, Hunter, who scored 21, taking third prize, an easy chair valued at L 4 10s ; and Scoullar, a bowling cup, valued at L 3 3s. Exhibition rink tournament, sixth ties. — B. Hale 1 * Canterbury rink (26) beat Mathesons Roslyn rink (13), Struther's Christchurch rink (22) beat Barlow's Caledonian rink (14). Barlow's rink won the trophy of LlO 10s presented by the President of the Caledonian Club for the rink from the club that lasted longest Final: Canterbury 3io. 3 — Savage, Parsons, Ashby, Hale (skip) 27, beat Chriscchorch No. 4— Marshall, Wood, Maddiaon, Struthers, skip (14) and won the first prize, the Exhibition Cup value L 26 and a gold medal to each member of the rink, value LlO 10s. Thomson skipped Chrutchurch rink, and they scored 26 to 12 invle by Paul's Nevr Plymouth team. The Canterbury bowlers thus secure nearly the whole of the prizes. Th« final match in the rink tournament was keenly con tested. The Canterbury team played well, and certainly had the best of the luck. The Christchurch men, on the other hand, played in and out, the reteran Struthers being the only one consistent. They played a plucky losing game, and cren at the 18th end a streak of kick would have put them in it. Three riuks of Victorian bowler* played three from Roalyn, Roolyn winning by 74 to 42.
