INOHOLME SCHOOL.

Tbia school broke up on the afternoon of Friday, 23rd, for the usual Chriotmas holidays. The room was tastefully decorated with flowers, etc., and the needlework and drawing of the children made a very good display, reflecting much credit on the teacher, Miss Nicol, and also on the children themselves. There was a Tery good attendance of parents and others interested in- the work of the lohool. After a number of songs and recitations by the children, the prizes were distributed by the chairman ot the committee, Mr George M'Donald. The following is the prize list; : Standard V — Alex. Frenoh. Standard IV — Janet Gemmell, 1 ; Isabella Crawford, 2; Robert Soott, 3. Standard lll— John Scott.
