Lord Lyon's dam is tho well-known mare Maggie Lauder, imported from Victoria by Mr Georgo Aitkenhead j sire Lord Lyon ; dam by the celebrated horse Ben Lomond. Lokd Lyon took third 2>'izo as a yearling in Christchurch, and last year ho took second prize in Oamaru as a three yoar old. These were the only times he was shown.
