Satnttel Ch»rl«s Trengravc, who was lately committed for trial on the verdict of a coroner's jury (or *he murder of his ■wife, whom he had cruelly ill-used, was brought up at the Geraldine resident magistrate* court yesterday on the charge of murdering bis wife Hannah Trengrove. The evidence was substantially the same as that given at the coroner's inquiry, and tbe accused was committed to stand hiii trial at the session of the Supreme Court to be held at Timaru on the Dth instant.
