AUCKLAND. April 14.
At tho Supremo Court sessions Goo. Eyre, a farmer, for oattlo stealing, was acquitted. Hena lUona, Pina Halcutnahi, Hime Honea, Wera llata Pera, and Hananui were severally charged for forcibly entering the premises of Isaac Wilson, hotolkeepor, of the Iyake District, in T)eoember last. The jury returned a yordiot of guilty of forcible entry by intimidation, His Honor said it was a caso which did not oall for severe punishment, but he would order a flno of hIQ each. Just before the rising of the Court, Mr Broomfield, solicitor, of Gisborne, fell down in a fit, and was carried out of Court. Mr Twine, the Auckland member of the Royal Commission on Local Industries, His Worship the Mayor, and tho Working Men's Political Association, are actively exerting themselves to obtain information on tho above subject for the Commission.
