Tho Borough Council has agreed to reduce the wages of all Corporation laborers, and to incroaso tho salary of tho Enginoor by L5O a year. Tho Council, a short tinio ago, statod that it could not afFord L5O to tho hospital, but at its next mooting voted tho Mayor an honorarium of L2OO.
