Blackleg won altogether 54 First and 2 Second Prizes. Princess Maudo, tho best maro that over loft Scotland, was half-sister to Blackleg. Young Princo of Wales, imported by Henry Millo, Esq., Wantwood, Southland, and bred by Lawrence Drew, Esq., Moriyton, Hamilton. Before leaving Home ho was awatded two firsts, and has beaten all the horses of note in the Colonies. His sire, Old Princo of Wales, stands, and has stood for the last four yeara, at £40. Princo Royal, as a yearling, took second pnze atTimaru, first at Christchurch, and iirst at Oamaru. Whon 2 yoars, was second at Timaru, and first at Oamaru ; when 3 years was second at Oamaru. Ho is now leckoned tho best horso of his years in New Zealand, and has proved himself a sure foalgetter.
