The tint tod of the Edendale-Toi Toil railway wan turned to-day. This line, when completed, will open up a vast tract of agricultural laud in tho Mataura district. The first section has now beeu commenced, and will bo romplntnd within twelve months, ft is between three and four miles in length, and ron» oymt romparativelv level country. The length of the whofe line will be something like 30
