Barley, a few samples offering, but quality inferior If the samples offering ar« ' the average of the bulk, then this crop is a partial failure. No sales; price abemt 63. Flour, ready sale fox good quality. I have passed some 29 tous, prices from L 9 to LlO, and Lll 5s for Oamaru. Potatoes not yet ripe ; smalliots of pew are -worth L 5 l(h to I L 6. Grass seed sales very slow ; several I lots on hand waiting markot price, about 5s to 5s 6d, according to quality. Corn sacks, slow of sale ; prices 8s Gd in bales.
