CHRISTCHURCH TERMINUS HOTEL (Immediately opposite the Railway ■ Station.) THOMAS RICHMOND, Proprietor. SINCE the present Proprietor took pos- I session of this Hotel, extensive improvements have been effected l)y re-furnish-ing its suites for families, ami largely extending its Bedroom accommodation. New furniture, unique and elegant, has been in. | troduced into its suites, and no economy has been studied in making its Bedrooms what they are now admitted to be — lofty, airy, and replete with comfort. .The Culinary department is conducted by one of artistical skill. Luncheon on the Table from 12 till 2 o'clock. Dinner waits the arrival of pas-i sengera by the Express Train from the South till half -past 6 p.m. Travellers by railway will find this Hotel — both at the time of their arrival in ant! departure from the city, owing to it* proximity to the Railway Station — more convenient for them than any other Hotel in Christchurch. A Porter will be in attendance on th« arrival of Trains, to take charge of luggage, have it conveyed to the Hotel, and vice versa. A new Billiard Room has also been recently erected and attached to the Hotel, which, for" its extent, decorations, and completeness is at present unequalled in New Zealand. Four of Alcock's finest Exhibition Tables have been imported from Melbourne for this i magnificent room, in which lovers of the game may luxuriate in the midst of all the improved appliances and comforts known to ■ modern art. The Proprietor will bestow special attention in his selection of Wines for this estab- j lishment, and only the best will be supplied.
