The Now Zealaud Shipping Company's barque Mataura sails this afternoon for London, with 3981 bales wool, valued at 179,620; 10 casks sealskin^ L 300; 32 casks tallow, L 360 ; 100 sacks flour, LI 20; 7 packages sundries, L 259 ; 2 boxes gold, LI2,9SS. The total value of the careo is L 93.638. She takes S passengers ; saloon — Mr W. J. Will; second cabin, Mr and Mrs tJuda and family (4), Mr R. Pearce. January 19. The ketch Huon Belle, with 198 bales of wool for the ship Euterpe, arrived yesterday eveninc from Kakanui.
Invercargill, Jan. 19. The ship Western Monarch arrived at the Bluff to-day, from London, with immigrants.
Wellington, Jan. 19. Sailed, last night, the Hinemoa, for Dunedin, with Messrs Ballance anrl Macandrew. The Taiaroa, for the South, arrived today. Arrived — Taupo, from the South, and Star of the South, from Lyttelton.
Blttff, Jan. 18. Arrived — Arawata, from Dunedin. Sailed — Arawata, for Melbourne. The N.Z.S. Co.'s ship Waitara sailed today for London, with a cargo of 4019 hales wool, 507 bag 3 wheat, 13 casks shells. Total value, L 89,100. She also took five passengers.
