At this period of the year transactions in wheat are, of course, at a complete standstill. We learn that small lines of new oats have changed hands, for forward delivery, at fiom 2s f)d to 3s. Ciops generally, throughout the distiiit, are looking well, and promise an. abundant harvest, and wheat will probably open at from 33 9d to 4s, though recent advices from Victoria have a tendency to check speculation. Other quotations remain as last given.
