At the Paris Exhibition the M'Cormick Machine was awarded the only GRAND PRIZE given in the Agricultural department. At the Trial neld under the auspices of the Royal Agricultural Society of England at Bristol, August 6th. Decision of the Judges— M'CORMICK'S SHEAF BINDER fulfilled the conditions of the Society, and was awarded THE GOLD MEDAL. At the Riccarton Trial, January 24th, 1878. three-fourths of the farmers preferred the M'Cormick Reaper and Binder, and were prepared to give their unsolicited verdict in its favor. At the Kaiapoi Trial, February 7th, 1878, th« FIRST PKIZE, given by the Farmers' Club, was awarded to the M'Cormick Machine. At the Oamaru Trial, Fobruary 27th, 1878, THE GOLD MEDAL, Given by the Northern Agricultural and Pastoral Association, Oamaru, Otago, was awarded to the M'Cormfck Machine. At the Ashburton County Trial, at Methven, on March 6th, 1878, the FIRST PRIZE was awarded to the driver of the only M 'Cormick Machine present in competition with Twelve Machines of another make At the Publio Trial, held nnder the auspices of the Otago Agricultural and Pastoral Association, at the Grange, Taieri, on March, 16th, 1878, the thirty Judges appointed were unanimous in awarding the FIRST PRIZE TO THE M'CORMICK MACHINR.
