There are about 700 acres which have been subdivided into small fields, cultivated and now in crop. The freehold will be sold at a moderate price (especially so when its quality is considered), and on reasonable terms, everything else will be given in. If the property is sold before the lst February, 1879, the wool will be included, if not, the sheep will be shorn and the numbers will Btand precisely as enumerated, less the wool. Upon the freehold there is an unlimited supply of coal, limestone, and freestone. The only reason for disposing of this favorite property is the serious indisposition of a member of the proprietor's family, which compels him to leave the colony. The terminus of the Otautau and Nightcaps Railway is upon the run, and within a short distance of the freehold, and the proposed extension to the Waiau passes through the centre of the estate, and close to the present homestead. The above property will be offered for competition by public auction in Dunedin about the middle of February, 1879, if not earlier disposed of by private contract.
