DVNEDIN.-— Maclean Brothers report, for Wdek ending 17th April, as follows :— Wheat: In this transaction* hftvo boon quite unimportant, aa millors aro indisposed to do business at sellers' present quotations. Small lots of superior grain have been sold at up to 4s 7d, deliverod at the mills. Ordinary qualittes aro vory slow of sale at from 4s 3d to 4s fid. Oats nave dome forward freoly during the week, and aro not sought after for local consumption. Our sales have ranged from 3s 4d to 3s Gd for good feed to bust milling samples. Barley of prime malting quality it saleablo at tip to ss. From pro* lent Appearances we should judge that tlio grain is likely to bo higher, the quantity in the open market being vory trifling.
