A COMPLAINT FROM OTEPOPO.

( To tho Editor of the North Otaoo Times ) Sir, — The residents of our township have for tho last four days been treated to the presence of a dead horse in one of tho public streets, and as we have neither a Constable nor Inspector of Nuisances, several of tho residents wish to know whoso, if anyone's, business it is to have tho samo removed to a convenient distance? Live pigs, cows, and horses frequently occupy our streets on the darkest of nights, but a dead animal is rather an unpleasant object to be obliged to embrace on^a cold winter night. I am, &c, Querist. Otepopo, July 5.
