WAR IMMINENT BETWEEN RUSSIA. AND TURKEY.
We learn through the " Daily Times" that a telegram, received in Melbourne from the Victorian Agent-General, states that as diplomacy haa Failed, war between Turkey and Rmsia is likely. The aspect of European affaire when the Brindiii mail left wit summed up by the " Times " of Feb 13th in a lending article as follows :—" The whole come sto this, that, taking the political situation an it supervened on the dissolution of the Conference in the last daya of January, there is imminent danger of a great w«r between the Russians and the Turks, in which the European Governments will leave the Ottoman Power to its fate, reserving to themselves the right of interference at some future time, should the disposal of the occupied or conquered territory affect their interests."
