SHEARERS' UNION.
In our report of the meeting held on Saturday, published in yesterday's issue, Mr Ooombes, the Secretary, is reported as having said — "The Timaru Union had, he believed, broken up, or was on the point of doing so, owing to the Treasurer having appropriated some Ll5 or L 25 of their money. Mr Coombes wm, It appears, misunderstood ; what he stated or intended to have stated being — " one of the collectors is said to have taken LIB of the Union's money." We readily make the above correction, as we should be sorry to misrtpreMnt Mr Coombes.
