SUICIDE AT HAMPDEN. (FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Hampden, July 15.
A man named John Moran hanged himself last night at Port Moeraki. He is a new comer to the distriot, but has been employed on some of the coasting craft for some time. It appoars the unfortunato follow had beei> drinking heavily, and in a fit of despondency committed the roali act. He loaves a wife and children unprovided for. The inaueat in likely to be held on Monday, when no doubt fuller particulars will transpire.
