Wr> learn that a coasting vessel, tlie name of which we are unable to ascertain, went ashore at the Kakanui mouth one day during- last week. We believe this occuued thiough the breaking of a warp while an endeavor was being made to haul her over the bar. After unloading the vessel, she was ultimately hauled into the basin. The electric telegraph brings news that the schooner Tyne has become a total wreck. On her passage from Wellington the vessel missed stays aud went on the rocks. No lives lost.
