Towton is the sire of Golden Cloud, Miss Lee, Musician, &c. Fairy was imported from New South Wales, and is by Cossack out of a Satellite mare. The very Superior Clydesdale Stallion, EMPEROR, The property of John Nimmo, West Taieri, will Travel this Season through KAKANUI, CAVE VALLEY AND AWAMOKO Districts, arriving in each district every ninth day. Empebor is out of 1 Nancy, bred by Alexander Findlay, Esq., Sandyhills, near Glasgow. Nancy was got by the celebrated Garvary Horse, and her dam by Scotsman, the property of James' Kirkwoods, Kilmars. Nancy was first Bhown as a three-year-old, and got first prize at Hamilton, first at Bailleston, second at Glasgow, and second at Kilbride. She was next year shown as a Brood Mare at Glasgow and Kilbride, where she received similar honors. His' sire, the well-known Imported Horse Napoleon, whose stock is not excelled in the Province. Empeeoe is' rising fiva-years-old, is of great strength" and compactly built. He has proved himself a sure" foal-getter, and his stock is of a superior description. , Emperor was never shown but ' once (in Dunedin), when a two-year-old, when he received the second prize for the best horse of any age (his -sire being first),' and first prize for the best two-year-old. ■ > — — * ' * * Teems £6; Groomage, 5s. ;' groom's fee' payable at first service, arid all demands payable to the, groom on or before, the 1st February, 1869, when the Beason ends.
