BELLING STAKES,

20 Sovs. — Ik miles. Entrance, 2 guineas ; O.J.C. weights. Winner to be sold for L100. If entered to be sold for L90, allowed 71bs ; i for L80, 141bs j if for L60, 281bs ; if for L50, allowed 351bs. The winner to bo sold by auction immediately after the rflce, and the surplus (if any) to go to the fund.

CONSOLATION HANDICAP.

Of 20 Sovs. — Once round the Course ; for all beaten horses. Entrance, 2 guineas.

Rules and Regulations of the Otago Jockey Club will be strictly adhered to. Mares and Geldings allowed 3 lbs. No person to enter a horse unle»s he be a subscriber of not less than 3 guineas to the funds. All entrances must be in sealed covers, addressed to the Secretary, containing entrance money, descrip» tion and age of horse, and colors to bo worn by the Jockey, on or before Monday, 4th March.
