VALUABLE FREEHOLD PROPERTY AT OTEPOPO.
BOWER, PANTLIN AND CO. have received instructions from the Trustees in the Estate of W. 0. Whitehead to sell by auction, at their rooms, High-street, Dunedin, on Wednesday, 2r3d January next, at 2 o'clock, The following Valuable Freehold Properties : — LOT I. Sections Nos. 71, 72, 73, and 74, Block VL, Otepopo District, containing 206 acres, or thereby. On this lot is built a substantial Stone House of nine rooms, well-finished throughout, and commanding an extensive and varied view of the surrounding neighborhood. The outhouses consist of a 4stalled stable, built of wood and roofed with iron, together with pens, stockyard, piggeries, &c, and every requisito for carrying on an extensive dairy and cropping farm. The land is all arable, and in the district there is almost an unlimited run for cattle. About 120 acres have been fenced, 40 acres of which are now bearing a crop of wheat and oats. There is a garden of about half-an-acre closely fenced with splits, and partly stocked with fruit trees, &o. The hind is well watered, and bush in close proximity. The dwelling-house is insured for £500.
LOT II.
Sections Nos. 153, 154, 155, 156, and 157, Block VI., Otepopo District, containing 50 acres, or thereabouts; fronts the Main North Road ; li miles from the Township of Herbert ; is fenced and cultivated, and now bearing an excellent crop of wheat.
LOT III.
Sections 14 and 16, Block V., Otepopo District, containing 20 acres, or thereby ; adjoins Lot 2, on the opposite side of the Main North Road. Tbe land is fenced, has been twice ploughed, and is now lying fallow.
The crops in Lots 1 and 2 -will bo sold separately
from the land.
