mo STAND THIS SEASON, AT AWA MOA AND TOTARA STATIONS, The Imported Clydesdale Entire, LOFTY, The property of Mathew Holmes. LOFTY is a bright bay, five years old j stands 17 hands 2 inches. Lojtt was bred by Mr Hugh Vallance, of Greathill, Avondale, Lanarkshire, N.B. His dam, in 1855, at the Avondale Farmers' Society's Show, gained the First Prize for tho Draught Mares. In 1861, at tho same Show, she, with Lofty at foot, gained the First Pri/so for tho Brood Mares. His sire, Clydesdale Tom, in 1859, at tho Lannrkshire Farmers' Society's bhow of Entires, held at Hamilton, gained tho First Prize of L40. Lorir, in 1861, at the Avondale Farmers' Society's Show, gamed the First Prize in the one-year-old's. In 1862, at the same Show, he gained the First Prize in the two-year-old's ; and also the Prize for tho best of the horse kind. He also gained the First Prize at the Lanarkshire Society's Show at Hamilton ; and the First Prize at the Glasgow Agricultural Society's bhow in the two-year-old's ; and in 1863 ho gained the Second Prize hi the thrce-year-old's at the Highland Agricultural Society's Show, held at Kelso. Lofty will stand every Tuesday and Wednesday at Totara Station ; and the remainder of the t\ eek at Awa Moa. A good paddock for Mares will be i provided at each place, and every care will bo taken, but at the owners' risk. Teems: Seven Guineas ; to be pre-paid. Season to commence on the 22nd October.
