TO SUBSCRIBERS AND OTHERS.

The present issueof tho OAMAnu TiME3 and "Waitaki Reported commences the third year of its publication. Subscriptions for the ensuing half-year are now due, in advance. As the outlay connected with the publication of newspapers in thinly-populated districts falls heavily on the propi ietors, and as the expense must in a great measure bo met iveekly, it is particularly requested that our supporters Trill order payment of their respective amounts with all due promptitude. The desire expressed last year is reiterated this, that those gentlemen who kindly subscribe for more lhan one copy will continue to do so for the present. As population increases, the necessity for tlu3 ■will gradually become less. Recent settlers in the district are requested to send in their names and addresses as Subscribers. Tho p v nprictors deem it scarcely necessary to state that, now as heretofore, it will be their earnest desire to devote every attention to the advocacy of the intorests of this extensive and important district ; and th % y trust in return to receive the warm co-operation and support of all who havo at heart its prosperity and advancement. For the dissemination of local information, the proprietors would here express their wish that residents in the outlying districts will contribute, to the Editor, any items of intelligence which may be considered of public interest. Strict accuracy and truthfulness of information so communicated are particularly enjoined. F. PINKKRTOX & CO. Februaiy 22nd, 1866.
