Prices since late sales, well maintained for all descriptions — especially full-bodied and good combing — at an advance of 2d. per lb. on September prices, owing to scarcity. Quantity catalogued, 60,237 bales. Home and foreign buyers bought freely. Market after sales quite bare, more so than for many years. Increase on last year's, 70,020 bales. Exports to New Zealand for month shew a decrease.
