L2 for the best 1 Cwt. of Potatoes Ll for the best Truss of Oaten Hay Ll for the best Truss of Grass Hay. CLASS L.— AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENTS, (Manufactured in New Zealand). L3 for the best Plough L2 for the best set of Harrows L3 for the best Horse Cart for farm purposes. CLASS M.— MISCELLANEOUS. Ll for the best 4lbs. of Home-made Bread 10s. for the second best 41bs. of do. .. EXTRA STOCK. L20 to be left to the discretion of the Judges. RULES AND REGULATIONS. Members and Subscribers to the Association, and members of any other Agricultural Society, to exhibit free. Any person can exhibit Stock on paying a fee of Two Pounds ; Farm Produce, Implements, &c, on paying a fee of Ten Shillings ; and Dairy Produce, Poultry, &c, on paying a fee of Two Shillings and Sixpence each exhibit. The name, residence, and district of the exhibitor and breeder, the breed of the animal he intends to exhibit, the pedigree of the Stock as far as known ; and of Sheep, the time of shearing must be given to the Secretary, with entry, one month previous to the Show, or he will not be allowed to compete. All Stock exhibited shall be bonafide the property of the exhibitor or his principal. No competitor ■will be allowed to exliibit more than three (3) lots of each description. Stock which cannot be shown in a competing class, may be exhibited as Extra Stock. In no case shall a premium be adjudged unless the Judges shall deem the lot to possess sufficient merit, more especially if only one lot is presented for a premium. All Stock for competition is to be taken into the Society's Yards By Eight o'clock on the morning of *he Exhibition, except Horses, which must be in the ardby 10 o'clock. Successful competitors for Stock are at liberty to Lect between money and medals. Letters with Entries for Stock will be received by le undersigned, at Oamaru, not later than the 21et eptember, and other exhibits not later than the 12th October, 1865. JOHN LOCKE, Secretary.
