The following RULES and REGULATIONS are to be observed : — 1st. That all Ploughs be entered with James Hassell, Esq., from 14th to the 16th instant. 2nd. That all Ploughs be on tho land and Ploughmen to draw lots at 9 o'clock a.m. 3rd. That each allotment will contain one-third of an acre, to be ploughed by Horse Teams within 4Jhours, and by Bullock Teams -within 5 hours. Half-au-hour extra to be allowed for Luncheon. 4th. That no objection bo made to any particular class of plough, or the number of horses or bullocks in each. 5 th. That the depth of each furrow be not less than five inches, the breadth to be left to the discretion of the ploughman. 6th. That no person be allowed to assist or interfci*o with tho ploughman, beyond Betting up tho poles. 7th. That if any ploughman bo found violating any of the above Rules, he will lose all claim to any prize. 8th. That three Judges be appointed by tho Committee, whoso decision in all things will be binding. 9th. That a Subscription of Two Guineas will constitute a Member of the Society. 10th.
