TjlDUCATIONAL DISTRICT, OAMARU. -Jl — A "~-"~~~~ The following Minute is published for general information, and tho special attention of all persons interested therein is requested : — " At a meeting of tho District Committee, held on 27th April last, ifc was resolved — That, as certain of tho Promissory Notes for Educational purposes, have been for some time overdue, parties who have not yet paid bo urgently requested by advertisement to pay the same forthwith at tho Bank of New Zealand. At tho same meeting a Finance Committeo was appointed, consisting of Messrs Ashcroft, Sumpter, and Locke (Treasurer), with authority to 6olicit and rcceivo contributions for tho above puvposc from persons who have not already contributed to tho fund, and to appoint a Collector, if necessary."
