Waiharara News
Dance Saturday, July 2nd, saw a large crowd gathered at the Waiharara War Memorial Hall, when a dance was held to raise funds for football. Mr. Jack Katavich was m.c. and the Versatile Orchestra supplied the music with extras from Mr. F. Evans. A monte carlo was won by Mr. T. Katavich and Miss M. Mihaljevieh. Pat Taitai was the winner of a lucky number, and a ham went to Mr.' J. Newton. A competition in aid of the Basketball girls resulted in Mr. A. Blucher winning a box of chocolates. A nice supper was served and dancing- continued until midnight. Personal Mr. L. Babich is at present holiday making at the home of his parents.
