MANL’KAU MEETING On Saturday the Manukau Sports Club will hold a combined sports and race day. This will be held at Herekino. and it is expected that entries for the horse races will be above average. Entries for two races are all that have come to hand at the time of going to Press, and unfortunately weights have not been submitted : Manukau Cup.—Hazroy, Okakawai, British Maid, Sunray, Tonto, Beau Rep, Te Arai. Smith who has been teller in the Commercial Bank of Australia for some considerable rime has received i otice of his transfer to the Queen Street South branch of his bank in Auckland. He will be replaced by Ax'- S. C. Andrews of the Newmarket Branch Residents of Kaitaia will regret losing Mr. Smith who has fitted into the life of this community, and is well respected by all those with whom he came in contact.
