Another Pony Club Formed
AWANUI MEETING There was a good crowd gathered when a meeting was called to form an Awanui Pony Club. Formalities for such a purpose vece complied wfth and the club duly formed with the following officers elected : President Mr. R. West ; Secretary Miss Hutley ; Delegates to Central Committee —Mr. M. Bird and Mrs. McMillan ; Instructors Mrs. West and Mr. Daulton. EXCELLENT ENTRIES FOR A. & P. SHOW Mr. H. M. Thompson, president of the Mangoflii County A. and P. Association, reports that entries for the catle, pig and calf club sections of the annual show, which is to be heM on Saturday sth March, are excellent. Mr. Thompson was unable to make any pronouncement upon the hoise secton, but stated that there was every indication of this being up to the standard of those mentioned. “Entries are particularly gratifying,” said Mr. Thompson. “I can safely say that all sections will be probably up to pre-war standards of entry.”
