Play again was popular on the two days of competitive play, results of games being as follows : Thursday’s Buttons : Mesdames Theed and Crosby won from Mesdames Cox and Cave. Saturday’s Buttons : Mesdames Parker and Crosby won from Mesdames McKenzie and Theed. Ladies are asked to remember the fact that the Bowling Club is holding a gala day on Saturday next, and are also requested to be present and bringtheir donations for the produce stall which is being sponsored by the Croquet Club. BELL MEMORIAL FINANCE Early Offer Made It can be announced that Mr. F. Holder, convenor of the Allen Bell Memorial Fund Committee, has received from Sir Ernest Davis, an offer of ten pounds towards the cost of erecting a suitable memorial to the late Col. Allen Bell.
