Another Successful Dance

R.S.A. SATURDAY FUNCTION On Saturday night last, the R.S.A. held another of their well-known and popular dances. The attendance was above average and proceedings for the night went with customary swing and verve, and was enjoyed to the full by all those present, despite the heat of the night and the humidity prevailing at the time. There were novelty dances in abundance, and the prize-winners were pleased with their reward for being fortunate. Master of Ceremonies, Mr. “Johnnie” Johnson kept things alive arid saw to it that all were taking part. The new band to the district —the Modernaires —are fast becoming faultless, and this combination under the baton of Lew Henry promises to soon . become the best in the whole of the I North, not even excluding Whangarei.
