RULES I.—Entries for Events 2. 4 and 7 shall be made on the official entry form and close with the Secretary, Mangonui, before 5 p.m. on Februarv 19, 1949. 2-—Weights for these events shall be declared about February 21st, 1949. 3. —Post entries for all other events close 30 minutes before advertised time of starting race. 4. Horses in Events 2, 4 and 7 must weigh out 30 minutes before starting time, otherwise they will be deemed to be scratched. 5. Minimum weight for all Events except Event 3, to b e 9 stone. *>•—All persons take part in this meeting at their own risk. All horses taking part must be owned, trained and ridden by persons other than licensed trainers, jockeys, apprentice jockeys, stablemen or persons employed in or about the management, training, riding or care of horses registered under the Rules of Racing.
