' [ By peef Knot ] Last Saturday the Troop was unable to complete the canvass of the town for bottles? and newspapers, owing to the magnificent response of the nublic. Wfc will be continuing the drive this Saturday. All members of the TroaJ) are to report .at the new Fire Station at 8 a.m. The football team dinner has now been put back one week until Monday, 22nd September, and the usual Troop meeting will be held this coming Monday. Great interest is being created in the football match to be played with Awanui on Saturday in the playoff for the Cowie Shield.
