Charles Peterson, to Stanley Herbert, only son of Mr. and Mrs. H ijEarr, Kai- _ taia. The J. GrahSrn was the officiating minister, wiggle Mrs. E. Rule presided at the og|an. During the signing $f the register Mrs. Rule sang the solo, “O Pel-fact Love.” The bride Who entered the church on the arm of\her father, was charmJ ingly gowned %jn a grained frock of : embossed satift, mafic with a long I fitting bodice, | long fitting . sleeves | pointed at the\ w«st and a heart- | shaped £ Her beautifully 1 embroidered vei% yjt as held in place S by a tier of oiw&ge blossoms, and her shower bouj&et was made of ; white double smek, white double daisies and smilM. Miss Marny .Malloy of Manurewa and Miss Isa Irantfier (cousin of the bride), acted feidesmaids, while Miss Gae (sister of the bride) and Miss Beverley Kitchen (cousin of tge bridte) were flowergirls. Miss siclloy*iand Miss Panther were frqeked in chartreuse green floral taffeti and their shower bouquets wereCmade of« daffodils, gerberas, overrating flovfirs and smilax. Their veils weri held in place with flowers matching gheir bouquets. The two /Small dowel - girls were dressed aMke in daintjljjwhite organdie frock# with very fuff skirts. Their headgear* was made of jwhite daisies end tulldfand they carried posies of white ddhble daisies an# tulle. Mr. HJigh Ford attended the groom while plr. B. Bonne® acted as groomajjhan. At the reception held & the A. and P. Hall approximately A4OO guests were deceived by the brjHe’s mother, assisted by the groom’s mother. Mrs. Petewen wore a dusky rase suit trimmed sdth cornelli embroidery, a blue spi-ay and black accessories, while Mrs.* Carr wore a blackj pin-striped costume, black and white Jat’ a s P ra >' of fjeezias and black accessories. Mr. Claude Switzer very abljrcarried out the duties of The beautiful 3-tiered wedding cake was made and iced by Miss M. Forsyth of OruW ru. % When Mr. and Mrs../ Carr left for a tour of the Soutlfe the bride was attired in a moss green woollen suit with black accessories.
