Rules and Regulations

1. —All Horse Events shall be catch weights, with a minimum of 8 stone, except the Pony Event which shall be 7 stone. 2. The winner of any event may be allotted a penalty of not less than 7 lbs. in any subsequent event. 3. —Post entries close 15 minutes before advertised time of starting- each race.

4. —Horses must be in birdcage under control of starter 10 minutes before race. 5. —All Horses taking- part must be owned, trained and ridden by persons other than licensed Trainers, Jockeys, Apprentice Jockeys, Stablemen or persons employed in or about the management, training, riding or care of horses registered under the Rules of Racing.
