RIFLE SHOOTING

The Kaitaia Defence Rifle Club held the first Championship shoot at 800 and 900 yards during the weekend. Conditions were very difficult for accurate shooting with a strong variable head wind with sudden changes which kept all the riflemen guessing and their scoring at a low level. Results were :

In future, Club match shooting will take place on Saturdays instead of Sundays, and a Championship shoot will be held at 300 yards next Saturday, commencing as usual, in the morning.
