Whatuwhiwhi W.I.
A very well attended open-ait meeting was held on Wednesday, after the departure of the Canteen. Entries for the competitions were good, Mrs. Pat Matthews winning first prize for her “cuddly” toy, and Mrs. Bill Matthews for the best homemade loaf of bread. Mrs. Metgo’“ loaf (?) could have won the “booby -1 prize, but it was still very edible (albeit somewhat solid). Our next meeting is to be on the children’s Christmas party day when all the women act as hostesses for the children.
