KAITAIA GOLF CLUB The Captain’s trophy, for which an 18-hole Eclectic competition was played over the last two weekends, was won by A. J. Mackintosh 83-20-63 on a countback from H. Findlay 85-22-63. Taking the eclectic score over the last nine holes still left Mackintosh and Findlay even, and it was not until the last six holes were totalled that Mackintosh secured the win by one-third of a stroke. Other good scores were : Sutherland 86-22-64, Logan 78-13-65, Theed 81-16-65, Berry 89-24-65.
