The handicap stableford match played on Saturday was won by J. B. Reynolds after a count back from J. W. Parker. The leading scores returned were as follows: Reynolds 32, Parker 32, Creelman 31, Ladner 30, Loveridge 29. On Saturday the first round of the J. L. Hester Trophy (best 2 out of 3 handicap medal rounds) will be played. The draw is as follows: Wright plays Reynolds, McKenzie plays MeKechnie, Harre plays Bellingham, Pitall plays Ladner, Hammond plays Creelman, Kelly plays Parker, Dyer plays Dykes, Stanton plays Loveridge.
